I know this news is so 3 weeks ago, but I needed to make a post for my own journaling purposes! Nov. 8th was the district cross country meet, and the night turned out great!
Amanda ran a mile and a half and took 14th place, they gave her a metal! Addy ran 1 mile, took 2nd place, and got a metal, and Tanner ran 3/4 of a mile, took 19th place, and got a ribbon because they only gave metals to the top 15!
I am really proud of their dedication and determination! They practiced running before school, 4 days a week for 2 1/2 months. I need someone to make ME get out of bed early every morning and make me run!
The 5th and 6th grade girls took first place as a team!
